Question about Hayward Navigator Pool Cleaner
I would first check the water flow with your water flow gauge. If it is too high, you can use a restrictor plate that may help you get your correct coverage back. If it is too low, that means its a problem with your pump, not the cleaner. Check your shoes and wings. If they are worn, it could cause the pool cleaner to not be able to climb properly. If it has always had this problem, it could be that your hose is too short and it cannot reach all points of the pool effectively. You can buy additional hose sections if this seems to be the problem. A few more things to try: check and clean your rear screen, make sure that your cone gear is free and rotates smoothly in all directions, and check your gear box to make sure that it doesn't need to be repaired or replaces.
