Question about Whirlpool GEW9200L Electric Dryer

PF Code on Duet Electric Dryer

The PF Code flashes on my duet dryer. We have unplugged it for several minutes, then overnight to try and reset. That doesn't work. How can we get the dryer to reset itself?

Thanks

Whirlpool duet dryer error code pf

The error code means that the unit suffered from a power failure.just make sure that all the wiring is good there is nothing loose and the circuit breaker is in good shape you should be able to turn off the dryer unplug it for a few minutes and the plug it back in this should clear the fault code.

I have a Whirlpool Duet sport dryer that came with the house I bought a year ago so I have no manual. What does it mean when the display says PF? Clothes were dry but display waid PF

The only PF I am aware of means power failure. Try unplugging the unit for awhile then try it again. This may reset the computer.

Try unplugging it and see if it will reset the control panel.I would have to say if that don't work it's a problem electrical and unfortunately you will have to call a repair man.
Most of these machines are under waranty for two years.
