Here are the steps for putting the trimmer blades and the top back on a Remington PG200 Rechargeable Personal Groomer:
Make sure the device is turned off and unplugged.
Locate the trimmer blade assembly, which is located on the top of the device.
To attach the blades, align the notches on the blades with the notches on the trimmer assembly. Push the blades into place and make sure they are securely locked in.
To attach the top, align the notches on the top with the notches on the trimmer assembly. Push the top into place and make sure it is securely locked in.
Once the blades and top are securely attached, plug the device back in and turn it on.
Test the blades by running the device on a low setting and make sure they are working properly.
It's important to always make sure the device is unplugged before attempting to install or remove blades. Be careful when handling the blades, as they are sharp and can cause injury if not handled properly.
If you have any trouble with the process, consult the user manual or check the manufacturer's website for more information or troubleshooting steps.
hello, To keep the shaft or trimmer head from turning when trying to remove the bump knob or blade insert a screwdriver in the slot on the other side of the head and remove bump knob or blade, hope this helps,,
The head screws on to the shaft. be advised that it is a left handed thread You should have gotten a locking pin with the trimmer Turn the blade shaft until one of the holes in the drive disc aligns with the corresponding hole in the gear housing. • Insert the locking pin (C) in the hole to lock the shaft. • UnScrew on the trimmer head/plastic blades (H) in the direction of rotation
Ensure blades are sharpened. If there are burs on blades they can seize. Blades should be lubricated with WD40 , waste oil or other lubricant. The bolts holding the two blades together shouldn't be too tight.
Your blades are stuck together.
Had the same problem: when I turn on the trimmer, the motor would hum but the blades won't move. What I did: 1. Sprayed a ton of wd40 between the blades 2. Took a screwdriver and kinda wedged it between the blades to get them unstuck. Also removed some guck between the blades. And it worked!
If you bought the trimmer new there should be a rod about 6" long and 1/8" thick. Above the trimmer head below the trimmer gearbox there is a hole. You have to put the rod in that hole and turn the head until that locks it from turning.
From there you can screw the trimmer head off by hand, or a strap wrench if it's really tight. It may be left hand threads.
Use a large pair of pliers to hold the turning metal ring above the T35 trimmer head. I used a medium-sized pair of Channel Lock pliers. Then, turn the trimmer head counter-clockwise and it should unscrew from the mount. There's no need to open the trimmer head for this operation. Then, follow the parts diagram in the trimmer user manual to install the blade parts in the right order.
you twist the plate holding the blades and it will lift off, then you turn the blade plate upside down and replace making sure you align the notches and then twist to lock into place. hope this helps
