Usually, if you open the printer as if you were opening it to replace the toner, you will be able to see the feeder rollers. Most of the time this is where the jam would be.
*at your own risk* most printer you will be able to manually advance the rollers to feed the jam through the printer. This might be a way of getting enough of the paper jam to get a hold on it.
Also, you might want to clean the rubber part of the rollers if these get dirty, they will jam more often. To clean them is it best to get a slightly damp wash cloth and clean them with the wash cloth. Please verify that the printer is unplugged, and that the rollers are completely dry before you plug it back in.
