Those CRTs were adjusted from the factory and yes they are adjusted or calibrated manually.
There should not be any need to adjust them only if you've replaced one or if the TV has been moved and you suspect that the CRT might have moved.

Where are the green tabs on the drum unit that I'm suppose to slide

When looking at the drum and cartridge combined. The embossed Brother Logo should be up the correct way. Above this logo on the Drum Unit itself near the top is the slider. Slide this all the way across and back. Making sure that the arrows on the slider meets up with the arrow on the Drum Unit. This process is cleaning the Corona Wire. If you leave the slider anywhere else but where the arrows meet you will end up with a solid line running vertically from top to bottom of the page where this slider sits.

Hi kipspal2,

You can adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad according to your requirement. Just follow the instructions below:
1) Click on Start.
2) Go to Control Panel

I have a Toshiba 42WH18B and I am told that the teletext board has gone (suffering from intermitent picture and lines, picture switching between black and white and colour). Can anyone tell me what the...

The teletext board in that set is an add on and as such if it is taken out the set will work happily without it and as teletext no longer exists in the UK, not a problem. When the set is switched on without the panel, the microprocessor will see there is no board because it won't get the hand shake and perform as though it were a 42WH08B
Hope that helps.

Lost Codes -Need Remedy

I scoured the internet on how to reset the V-CHIP on my Toshiba TV/VHS combo MV19M4 and could not find the solution. I tried others suggestions that had worked on similar models but nothing worked so I started experimenting and I figured it out! Follow these steps:

1: Unplug the TV for 1 minute then plug it back in.
2: In the menu select "TV Set Up".
3: Move the blinking block to beside "V-CHIP Set" BUT DO NOT SELECT IT.
4: Hold in the number 1 button on the remote.
5: Hold in the volume down button on the TV.

Your TV will turn off. Give it a few seconds to reset itself and then turn it back on and you will have to completely reprogram your settings. When you go to the V-CHIP settings it will ask for your new code.

Voila!
