For all current Bluetooth headsets the passkey is 0000 (four zeros).

If the phone does not accept this code, please refer to your cell phone user's guide to ensure the proper setup procedure.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

How I delete the bluetooth devices or contacts?

Reset to factory settings. This will delete all the phones data.
Or do it one by one by going into contacts and deleting them.
Then go to bluetooth settings and delete the bluetooth devices that are synced.

Kenwood ddx8032bt The BLuetooth stopped working

  1. Delete your phone from the Bluetooth memory of the receiver. (Page 40-41 of the manual)
  2. If possible, unpair/delete the receiver from your phone's memory.
  3. Reset the receiver. (The reset button is to the left of the CD Eject button. It's triangle shaped)
  4. Reboot your phone.
Once you've done that, re-pair the phone and test it out.

Cannot pair my iphone 4 with jabra sps5050

The reason is you need a four digit code in order to pair your Bluetooth to your phone. Also, your phone has to be 'Able to be found', ie, set your Bluetooth settings on your phone, so that the phone is in 'Discoverable Mode' and ensure the Bluetooth setting itself is also turned on.

Once your phone is Bluetooth discoverable, try and pair the devices again. Your phone will find your headset and ask if you would like to pair the two devices. Obviously, select Yes/Pair and it will then require a 4 digit code for authentication. With Jabra the code is always "0000" (4 zero's). Once you enter the 4 zero's, the two units will then pair successfully.

Let me know if you require further assistance.

LG BLUETOOTH HFB-300 connection problem

turn the unit on using the large button that has a phone on it. once the unit is on then put your phone into "pairing mode" (see phone instructions for how to do this) and then hold the "mute/function" button for up to 10 seconds until it beeps and the blue light flashes on and off every one second. then your phone will discover the unit and ask for the passcode which is 0000, enter this on your phone and the pairing will complete with a beep from the HFB-300. the unit will pair up to 3 phones in the same way and will only recognise 1 phone that is on at once so you need to only switch bluetooth on for one phone at a time. if you pair more than 3 phones then the unit will automatically drop the oldest existing one it already has stores

Bluetooth enable

The complete solution - user reset is NOT necessary:

Whenever I purchase a new electronic device, the first thing I do is update the firmware. This has me in a bind in this case.

I updated my Nuvi firmware, then my BT firmware.

A few days later, I got the "Enabling Bluetooth" hang. I followed the advice on this page, but "Bluetooth Firmware Update" would not appear in the webupdate list.

1. Browse here and install the latest version of WebUpdater:
http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27

2. Turn on your Nuvi, press view map, press speed, press and hold the middle of the speedometer (the circle that says 0.0mph in it). After five seconds (maybe a bit longer), the engineering menu will appear.

3. Press "Next" five times (once for each page). You will arrive at the "Bluetooth Status" page.

4. Press "Clear". Confirm by pressing "yes".

5. Press "Updt PR". Confirm by pressing "yes".

6. This probably did _nothing_ for you, but to be thorough, I've included the steps.

7. Connect the Nuvi to your computer. Run the webupdater and if the latest version is already detected on your Nuvi, simply proceed and browse the list of further updates.

8. If "Bluetooth Firmware Update..." (or similar text) DOES NOT APPEAR skip to step 10 below, otherwise complete your fix with the next step, step 9.

9. If the "Bluetooth Firmware Update..." (or similar text) appears in your list, select this update and agree to term of service, and have the updater load the firmware onto your device. Unplug your device. It should powerup automatically. Power off. Power back on. Your BT should be back in business. Do NOT continue with the next steps. You are done.

10. If "Bluetooth Firmware Update..." (or similar text) DOES NOT APPEAR in the list, then you need to remove the offending update that is making WebUpdater believe that your Nuvi is up-to-date.

11. You can access the Nuvi by clicking on "My Computer" and double clicking the Nuvi link.

12. Click the "Garmin" folder.

13. Click the "RemoteSW" folder.

14. DELETE "006B055301.GCD". This file will be one of two GCD files in the directory: <DRIVE>:\Garmin\RemoteSW. The file without the "Date Modified" is the original firmware. The other file is the new firmware that the Nuvi believes is installed. By deleting the newer of the two files, WebUpdater will see that your Nuvi is out-of-date. Return to step 8 to continue your fix.

This should resolve all permutations of this nasty bug.

Remove phone from bluetooth handsfree car unit's memory

Sorry but what do you mean by?:- 'The car unit will not allow me to use the colour previously used' It should be the phone with the memory and the search facility for finding your car headset device, not the device looking for the phone. Once you have searched for new devices and found the headset with a different phone, the headset will not be able to connect with more than one device and should lose the old phone connection.
