Good Evening

In the UK the Maxi Cosi (original) Priori, the Priori SPS, Priori XP and PrioriFix carseats are not for rear facing use. They are only to be fitted forward facing.

I have been given a baby go 7 car seat I need it to be rear facing the sticker says forward facing?

There are forward and rear facing baby car seats , the rear facing are the safest , they are not interchangeable , the seats must be fitted to the rear car seat and only to the approved mountings.

Can i place the car seat facing front?

Hi - If it is an infant carrier Group 0+ carseat it must never be installed facing forwards. It is designed as a rear facing carseat to keep your child safe in the event of an accident. Always install a carseat according to the instructions.

Hi, I have my seat installed in a 2003 Envoy. The level lines on the side show the seat sitting too upright. Also I can not remember what the correct installation is for the top latch belt. This was used...

for a rear facing car seat, put a folded towel under the carseat where the back of the envoy seat meets the bottom cushion, this will bring the level indicators closer to level. Also, you might need to use more than one towel once you tighten the seat down.

How do you install the car seat for rear facing?

Hey Just posting this for future reference for other people since I see that you posted over a month ago :) ..

To install the car seat in rear facing I used the latch system. (you can use the latch system if your vehicle has latches..they are tiny metal bars in between the seats)

First of all with this dumb car seat I found out that the latch system was not in the proper place so if you find that yours is not where the diagram shows (in the manual) then you'll have to take off the seat cover and manually put them in their place. Then go ahead and clip onto the latches in the rear facing position. If the car seat is too far forward then inline the seat. If the car seat is still not leaning far enough back to be level with the ground (there should be two level marks on the top/side of the car seat) place a rolled towel (or roll a 2x4 in a rolled towel like i did) then clip onto the latches. Hope this helps someone.

I this seat as good and as safe as the more expensive ones?

Yes, it's a great seat. All seats sold in the U.S. have to pass the same safety standards.
This one is easier to install than a lot of others I've used and fits most kids well from babyhood until at least age 3 or 4, when they'll need to move into a 5 point harness booster.
It rear-faces to 33 pounds, which is great, since rear-facing is SO much safer than forward-facing...my LARGE 26 month old can still comfortably rear-face in it.
It's not as padded and fancy as the more expensive seats, but my kids haven't found it any less comfortable than their Britax or Graco seats.

Can't Install

You definately should get the rear tether connector to get this car seat in snug. It is the best way and designed to be used rear facing withthe Roundabout. Click the link (or cut and paste into your browser) below to see what I am referring to. When you get it you should connect it to the passenger seat belt track as that is connected to the frame of the car.
