No error code: Without an error code, there are innumerable internal and external factors ranging from a simple plumbing crossover, to bad PC board.
Open link above and read no-error-code, and find copy of manual if available.

Best place to start is manual.
Read troubleshoot section, advisories, and required maintenance.
Burners require yearly cleaning, heat exchangers require yearly de-liming, and water filter should be cleaned monthly. Tankless are complicated machines requiring research, experience and expertise to diagnose and make successful repairs.

The water heater uses a thermocouple to generate a small voltage from the pilot light. This voltage is used to blink the led and allow the main gas jet to turn on. Either your thermocouple or the wiring from it has failed and needs to be replaced, or realigned if perhaps it moved out of position above the pilot light.

It could be a thermocouple but first take the whole pilot assembly out and disassemble it. Clean it very good (compressed air is ok) especially the orifice inside the pilot horn. You may just have a weak pilot. If the flame is in good contact with the thermocouple and problem still exist, then change the thermocouple. I believe in doing the free things first.

Pilot will light, goes out when button let go,

A long time ago, in a place far away, I saw an old gas valve, might have been on a water heater, might have been off an A/C unit. I took my 10" adjustable wrench and unscrewed the coil that the thermocouple screws into. Now, when I have the problem that you describe I take the threaded end of the suspected thermocouple and put it into my spare. I light the pilot and hold the button down. Then, after a minute or two, I press the button on my spare, which now has the thermocouple attached. If the spare stays in the "ON" condition, I have just proven my gas valve to have faulted.

I suspect you main gas valve has failed, if you can find another valve, you can test as above, before buying a replacement valve.
