the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I delete from my computer "Torch", from my computer?

Hi Joyce
you need to click start/windows icon(bottom left) then click on control panel. in the control panel you are looking for add/remove programs (windows xp) or programs and features (windows vista/7) double click this and find your program in the list which is displayed, click once on it then click uninstall (either above for xp or on the same line for vista/7) hope this helps.

I can delete from add/remove prgms ok , if I delete 2008 to 2011 will it affect my computer old files

It really depends on the program you want to remove. If it is something you don't use anymore, then it will be just fine to remove. Be careful not to remove your anti-virus or software that contains drivers ie. display driver software

I want to remove freeze.com screensavers from my system. How can I do this?

Go to control panel, add/remove programs & remove it. You can also try simply going under the start menu & unsing the "remove" feature built in to the program. If none of that works, download malwarebytes & run that. ( google it) Let me know.

Message read/ missing export user 32.dll update layerd window.

Greetings,

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Restart your computer using the Windows 98 or Windows Me Startup disk.
  2. On the Startup menu, choose the correct CD-ROM support for your computer.
  3. Type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:

    c:
    cd <windows>\system
    ren user32.dll user32.dlx
    ren gdi32.dll gdi32.dlx
    ren winmm.dll winmm.dlx
    <ramdrive>\ext.exe

where <windows> is the name of your Windows folder and <ramdrive> is the virtual drive created by the boot disk (probably e:\ or f:\).
  4. Type the following line, and then press ENTER: For Windows 98:
    <CD-ROM drive>:\win98

    For Windows Me:
<CD-ROM drive>:\win9xwhere <CD-ROM drive> is the drive letter assigned to your CD-ROM drive. Note that this letter may be different when you boot your computer with the Windows Startup disk.
  5. Type the following line, and then press ENTER:

    user32.dll gdi32.dll winmm.dll
  6. Type the following line, and then press ENTER:

    <drive>:\<windows>\system

where <drive> is the drive on which Windows is installed, and <windows> is the folder containing Windows.
  7. Review the information displayed. If it is correct, press Y.
  8. Type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command: cd
    ren Cmapieng.vxd Cmapieng.vxx
  9. Restart your computer.
  10. Once Windows has restarted, run the Defragmentation application.
When Ext.exe has finished extracting the files, follow these steps:
  1. Remove the Windows 98/Me Startup disk, and then restart your computer.
  2. Press and hold down the CTRL key as your computer restarts. On the Windows 98 Startup menu, select Safe Mode.
  3. After Windows starts, on the toolbar click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click any utility that you have installed, and then click Add/Remove to remove the utility. Repeat this step to remove any utilities you have installed.
  5. On the toolbar click Start, point to Settings, and then click Taskbar And Start menu.
  6. Click the Start Menu Programs tab, and then click Remove.
  7. Double-click Startup, click the appropriate entry, and then click Remove.
  8. Click Close, click OK, and then restart your computer.
  9. Restart your computer.
  10. In Microsoft System Information, on the Tools menu, click System File.
  11. Click Settings, on the Advanced tab, click Restore Defaults, and then click OK.
  12. Restart your computer.

Hello,

Sounds to me that a program installed isn't playing nice with Windows 98. I would go into safe mode and remove what ever software was recently installed or do as the link says and remove Antivirus program. If you can't get into safe mode I would have to tell you to reinstall Windows 98.

Have a good day,

I removed some programs from my laptop, now cannot start computer.

You need to reinstall Windows using a generic Windows CD. You install Windows on a different folder from the one where you have the original system, for example windows.00.
After installing new system you should be able to restore old one.

If you haven't installed Windows before you can have this job done at any repair shop for a non too expensive fee.

Problem with transfering images onto my Windows 98

you might have to remove the driver in safe mode of windows 98.

then reinstall the drivers for the camera after removal.

also look in the control panel for add/remove program and look for your camera drivers

if they are there remove them, and reinstall the drivers.

also there are some computer where the usb port could be failing, try the camera on another computer, but i really would suggest a card reader for camera, since it take away the wear and tear of the camera by hooking it up and turning it on for transferring the files. i just use a card reader, and just used the camera to take pictures.
