Question about InFocus ScreenPlay 5700 Multimedia Projector
The TV has HD-ready, so the output will be set/communicated between devices as 1080i.
You will require optional adapter cable. In your tv there is input for inserting hd cable.
The 5700 has a total of 8 video inputs, including one composite video and 2 S-video, plus 2 HD-compatible component video. You also get a DVI-compatible digital video input (requires optional adapter cable). All 8 inputs can be accessed from the 5700's superbly intuitive backlit remote control. There are also 4 dedicated Source buttons which you can program for your most-used sources.
You will have to input wires to the hd-input source and then set tv to hd mode via remote and you should have hd image. But you will have to get optional adapter cable for hd connection.
You can get this cable from www.radioshack.com or from bestbuy.com or from walmart store.
This should help.thanks.Helpmech.
