Hi jecondon,

I'd contact the manufacturer (Salton, Inc.) customer service site for parts or manual, (or for warranty support, which I'd also recommend to you). If they don't have them, they should know where to send you (though if they don't, I'd seriously wonder about the company).

Go to

http://prc.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/

And click on "George Foreman" (lower-right portion of the page), it redirects you to a secure webpage where you can register.

https://secure.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/gf.shtml

Part of the page reads:
"Call toll-free or visit our websites for assistance if you need more help.

Parts & Accessories:
Phone: 1-800-738-0245 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., ET)

Product Warranty:
Service: 1-800-231-9786 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., ET)"

If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance for using Fixya.com,

HI Jeff,

I would contact the manufacturer and get a manual if you haven't got one already. While you're at it, you should probably ask them for guidance on this - - I've seen other complaints, including one where the plastic on the plugwas actually melting, but have not been able to find any safetyrecalls, although evidently the manufacturer, Salton, Inc. is having abad year financially - - you might want to get ahold of them soonerthan later.

Grill buzzing

No, a buzzing noise merely means that something is vibrating from the magnetic field that is created when power flows through the heating elements. As long as nothing is obviously loose, the grill is safe to use.

Grill will not heat to high

I took the section of the grill that wasn't heating apart, in this case the bottom part, and I discovered the wire had simply come loose from the connector. I put the wire back on and tightened it now it works great.

If you place a flame on the electrode tip and it starts to spark shortly afterward, replace the electrode.

Foreman Grill GR36CB stopped working

Foreman grills have a fuse on the circuit board, have you popped that section open to visually check the fuse? It could be that simple. Fuses do wear down over time, so depending on how much wear and tear you put in, it could just have broken on its own.

Of course, if you replace the fuse and it still goes, you'll need to double-check to see what's shorting it out. The unit may be dead but I wouldn't bet on it.
