Tiny particles left on dishes and glasses

This is happening to mine and I have done some detective work to figure this out as my tea cups have this same residue on them and I cannot get it out even if I scrub them. the 1st thing is you are using very cheap dishwashing washing powder and it is not getting dissolved properly and it sticks to glasses and coffee cups and tea cups maybe it has something to do with the sugar content that we use in drinking out of these I have not seen it on anything else other than this I have no-idea why these things but anyway ok 2nd thing wash your dishwasher with 1 cup of bleach let it run on the longest cycle x2 then 1 cup of white vinegar do the same x2 then do not buy powder anymore buy the liquard and a good one
make sure you have filled up your dishwasher with the most IMPORTANT THING THAT EVERY DISHWASHER NEEDS IS RINCE AID here in Australia it is called rince Aid you will usually find the hole for that next to where you put your liquard/or powder and set it for Number 3 this will do the trick and works great. I have alot of old wives tales for nearly everything that opens and shuts if you need more advice email me at

Machine says ventilate

When it says to ventilate, it is asking you to prime the pump. Put a cup under the panarello wand ( the steamer/frother) to catch the discharged water and press the hot water button (upper left button on my machine). Wait until air stops coming out with the water, usually 3-5 ounces, and then press the hot water button again.

You machine is now ventilated (primed) and should be ready to go.

Royal Professional machine

try to set the grinder to grind little more coarse, you have to make 2-3 cup to get the new settings to work.

To get off the ventilate you have to press the button for hot water and make a cup of water.

Hope this will help you.

Saeco royal cappuchino ventilate

Alternatively, try draining the machine. Page 37 of the user manual, Drainage. Place cup under the steam/hot water tube, turn knob clockwise around to 9. If the pump is ok, it will start automatically and start filling the cup. Drain about 1/2 cup of hot water and return knob counterclockwise to start position. If the flow meter is not damaged, the Ventilate message should be gone.
