Most cases, when you try to get a screen shot of your computer by using print screen, it only adds it to the clipboard.

1. Hold "Fn" key and press "Insert(prt scrn)".
2. Hold the Windows key and press "R".
3. In the dialog box, type "mspaint", without the quotations.
4. Once paint opens, hold ctrl (Control) and press "V".

The image of your screen should paste into paint.

You cannot print screen image to the printer with the FN key and the Insert key.
Use this method to print screen.
Press and hold down the Alt key and the press the PrtSc key, this places the screen image into the Clipboard. .
Open a blank Word document and then Click on Edit - Paste.
The image is then places onto this page, you can size up the image by holding down the Shift key and then place the cursor on the bottom corner of the image, then press the left mouse button and drag it down to the right, release the mouse button when you have sized the image to your requirements.
NOTE - Holding down the Shift button will maintain the image in the correct proportion.
You can now print this image document and or add text before printing.

Hp probook 4520s charging time more brightly .battary off time darknessly

Laptop screen is normally brighter when it is connected to the charge adapter. When the laptop is running on the battery it is usually a little dimmer to save battery power, you can adjust the screen brightness even on battery power. To adjust the brightness hold down the Fn key and press one of the function button keys it maybe the F7 or F8 key it will have a symbol on the key to indicate the screen brightness.

I want to turn on my web cam but can't find the button

Usually there is a fn key on the keyboard probably by the ctrl key. Hold the FN key and there should be a key with a picture of a webcam on it . Hold these two keys at the same time and it should toggle the webcam on.

The webcam key is usually F something at the top of the keyboard.

Good luck

Hello susan, if the numlock key doesnt work.

id recommend for you to do a restore.

just type in restore on the seach bar after you press the start button on the lower left habd side of your screen.

this lets you go back to the previous setting when it last worked.

Send us a feedback if it works.
