You cannot a put a password to the wireless card, but you can put a password for the wireless router/modem... You need to login into the router's interface and you need to configure the router by enabling the security.

How can i change password on my wifi so nobody else can use it anymore

Most wifi units have an IP address you can use with your web browser to change the wifi password and various other settings.
Look online for a manual for your specific router. Get the IP address for it and put it in the address bar and turn on password and even make your own password.

Wi fi passwords

Sad to say, there are no default passwords for wifi except for 12345 or 00000. It is because wifi passwords are unique to the owner of the wireless router. It is up to the discretion of the owner to put a password as he sees fit. Your best bet is to look for an open wifi connection, the one without the padlock icon and hopefully you will be able to connect to it. Good luck!
