The power brick may have gone bad. If at all possible (such as a friend has a Wii) then try a new plug on the Wii and see if that fixes it. If not then double check the wall outlet. If you still have no power on the Wii then you may have a defective unit. Some computer repair shops will try to diagnose the problem for you if you would like to take one in, but the price for repairs may be more than just buying a new Wii...

Best of luck

My sons wii is not going on,and also the light that is on while the power is off is not on either..? it was working fine yestrday..i tried to unplug and plug back in still no light at all..help!!

If your Wii is plugged in and the outlet is working. There is no red light, no green light, then most likely your AC Adapter/power cord is no longer working. You can find a new power cord at the following website. This should fix your Wii's power issue:

The light went of and i cant get the wii to turn

I was just wondering the same thing. I found something that said unplug it from the wall, remove the plugs from the wii, and let it sit for 2 minutes. Then plug it back in (to the wall, not a surge protector). It worked on mine.

Wii will not power on. Light is off.

Try the Wii "reset" procedure.

1. Unplug the Wii for at least 5 minutes.
2. Plug the Wii back in.

If you have the yellow light, turn on the Wii using the Wiimote.
