Air conditioning does not get cold

If the A/C comes on but simply does not get cold, you will have to "charge" your system. As long as there are no leaks and no other problems, this will fix your system.

I hope this helps,

Rv ac compresser

vehicular airconditioning systems have issues with leakage of R-134a. Check your pressures while unit is running, low side should read about 70 psig. if much lower than that, purge system and add as prescribed on the labeling. might want to use a leak detecting variety so you can see where you are losing refrigerant.

Ac doesn't blow cold air in 2003 tahoe

You will first have to check to see if the refrigerant has leaked out from the system. You may do one simple check yourself which is to turn on the airconditioning and look in the engine bay for the high and low pressure air-con pipes. There will be one pipe freezing cold if the system has refrigerant in it and the pump is working correctly. If not, then have the system checked by a professional.

Aircondition not cold but rear aircondition seems cool only.

Check for the refrigerant charge. You may have a leaking system.

My windows and airconditioning dosen

Dear Madam or Sir,

there seem to be two different problems with you Explorer.

If all power windows are inoperable, there seems to be a blown fuse. You´ll find a fuse table and diagram within your owner´s manual.

If the fuse is O.K., there has to be a problem with the power windows control module, you have to see a mechanic to service that.

The cause of the inoperable air conditioning is probably a lack of coolant or a defecitve a/c compressor clutch, these are the most common failures on AC Systems. Unfortunately there are no user serviceable parts on an A/C system so this ist a job for the mechanic too.

I'm having trouble recharging the airconditioning on my 2004 savana van.I've put freon in with switch jumped out so compressor runs, still is'nt getting real cold.

the problem is that you have air in the system, reon leaked out so there is a leak somewhere, you need to evacuate the system using a sreial vacuum pump, suggest you find a certified A/C technician to check and recharege the system

I have a York Central airconditioning system in my house. This morning I put on the airconditioning at 19. The house temperature reads 25. It has not gone down at all from 25. I put my foot over the ducks...

Make sure that the outdoor unit is on. If it is on, then check to hear if both the big black compressor is running as well as the fan. If both are running then feel the fat copper pipe that comes out of the unit. If it is not cold and sweaty then your system is probably very low on refrigerant. If the line shows evidence of icing, it could still be a little low. Although icing can be the result of 4or 5 other problems as well.
