How to uninstall deep freeze

To uninstall the software Deep Freeze must first be disabled and then uninstalled.

To disable Deep Freeze:

1. Hold down the shift key and double-click on the Deep Freeze icon. Alternatively, you

can press Crtl-Alt-Shift-F6. You should now see a password dialog.
2. Enter your password and click OK. If you have not yet entered a password you should be

able to click OK without entering anything. You should now see a dialog with boot options.
3. Select "Boot thawed" and click OK. This will disable Deep Freeze on the next reboot.
4. Reboot your machine. After the machine reboots you are ready to uninstall Deep Freeze.

To uninstall:

1. Locate the installation file you used to install Deep Freeze to this machine. By

default the name of this file is called "DF5Std.exe" for versions 5.X and "DF6Std.exe" for

versions 6.X.
2. Run the installation file (DF5Std.exe or DF6Std.exe).
3. Select the option to "Uninstall"
4. The software should uninstall and reboot the machine. When the machine reboots, Deep

Freeze should be uninstalled.

I want to remove office 2007 trail installed with dell PC windows 7 and be able to use office 2003 UNINSTALL DOES NOT WORK thx

download the free version of revo uninstaller. you might need to be a little patient uninstalling microsoft office as it sometimes appears to not be doing anything - you just need to wait for around 5 mins, if nothing, cancel the office installer and revo will continue the uninstall process for you.

Internet disconnects on using mozilla, safari, google chrome except internet explorer

This solution depends on how long ago you installed all 3 Browsers on your system.
I'm assuming you're using a Windows PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista

1- First, you want to uninstall Safari and Google Chrome (one at a time) from your PC. These two browsers are new to PC's and are not fully debugged/tested yet.
2- after uninstalling both, restart your computer 1 time.
3- After starting up again, start Firefox and try to surf to a website you haven't tried before on it.
4- If unsuccessful, check which version of Firefox you're using. If it is older than version 3.01, use Internet explorer to go to their website and download the new version.
5- uninstall the old version of firefox first, before installing the new version (always follow this rule for all future program installations, unless otherwise stated in the instructions for the program)
6- Once you have the new version of Firefox installed, run it and check for internet connectivity.
7- Firefox may ask to get settings from Internet Explorer at some point, say yes.

Let us know how it goes and rate us. :)

do you have the original microsoft office disc? if so you may need to have it in the CDROM drive when you start theuninstallation. Another option.. I think you can do a seasrch for system mechanic 5 and if you even get the shareware version there is an option to uninstall otherwise uninstallable programs (I think it is the PRO version I have the reg version of 8.0 but it doesn't have this option, maybe the PRO ver will have that option
