Hi Todd,
This kind of symptoms indicated of LCD controller board malfunction. First isolate the unit from loose connection inside because it will do same symptoms. Take it apart and pull-out the cable connectors from the LCD controller board, power supply board, and main board, inspect and then re-insert and ensure the connections.
If the symptoms still persist check the supply voltage in the LCD Controller board if present. If yes, this is an indication that the power supply is not the issue but the controller board. You must replaced this board to back the unit in normal operation.
If the supply voltage is not present in this board, your power supply output has a problem and disable the controller board. You must check this board from faulty parts like open fusible resistor(low resistance value), open/shorted regulator transistor/Zener diode, bad solder joints in line with the supply voltage (crack/dried/cold solder).
If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to look for a qualified technician to isolate the faulty parts.
Also check if your unit is under warranty/extended warranty period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Don't attempt to open the back cover because it will void the warranty.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.
