Press the DISP key to show the display screen selection window. The icons of modes
not available are shaded. HOTPAGE 1-HOTPAGE 5 are user-arrangeable displays
called "hot pages," which you can configure as you like See starting at page 1-9 in the manual.
I have a link to the operating manual for your 1724c.

Congratulations the device is within functionality. As a matter of fact devices without shark lense are least impactful. For example, the device may least capture images or receive data in realtime however provides accurate flight resources.

Unit will not power up. The fuse in the power line is good.

It is possible that their is a fuse inside the display. I would recommend sending the unit to a Furuno dealer to take a look at it. You can contact me: kevin@sun-me.net. We are a Premier Furuno Dealer that does bench repairs in house.

My furuno chartplotter is out about 2 km on the chart how do i correct this problem it is a furuno 1650wf

Make sure your time offset is correct and also make sure you have not accidentally offset the chart. Also keep in mind that there are places in the charts that you can overzoom which can also cause this problem.

Can I use my furuno gps navigator to supply position data to my rdp-139 chartplotter and if so which wires need to be connected

Yes the output forom the Furuno GPS (like a GP31) will be yellow and green, hook these to theinput on the plotter blue (or black) and white. Use Data1 on potter as the input and select a nav source of "ALL" in setup menu.

I have been doing some research and I haven’t been able to determine if the Garmin has a compatible output for your Furuno. I can not recommend any service center particularly since I have no idea where you are located, but any good marine shop should be able to help you.

The Furuno uses NMEA Inputs for the GPS, and like I said I haven’t been able to determine if that Garmin uses that as an output. I would suggest that you inspect your installation to determine if there are any cableing between the two units. If no wires connect the two that you can be sure that the units are not communicating.

As far as the chartplotter goes you can buy data cards for them, either on-line or from a good marine supply store.
