How do you set a hager eh010 timer

switch the timer off or disconnect
turn the thermostat setting to low
that way it will not work when the solar section is producing enough hot water and when the temperature in the hot water system falls below the thermostat setting it will switch on the power
usable hot water temperature is around 60 degrees c and anything over that will scald the skin within minutes
low thermostat setting is 55 -65 degrees c

Brinks 42-1009 ez vacation timer instructions

The Brinks 42-1009 EZ Vacation Timer is preset with 7 full days. You cannot choose when it goes on and off.

To set, spin the dial (clockwise only) until the arrow in the upper right of the center face is near the current day and time. Plug everything in and switch the upper tab to the right. On certain days, it will turn on in the early morning as well as evening or late night.

You cannot choose when to turn the light off. However, if you are home, you can turn the light on by switching the upper tab to the left. Remember to switch it back to the right in order to activate the timed on/off periods.

I set my outdoor timer for 6 hours after dusk and the christmas lights go off after about hours. I have another set on the other side of the railing plugged into a seperate timer (same brand) on the other...

You see the idea that many folks miss >> that nearby lights cause outdoor timers to blink and not work.
Test if neighbor's lights are the problem or if timer is defective:
Put black tape over photo eye on timer.

I test timers.
About 5% of the timers I receive factory-fresh are defective out of the box, and a large number of good timers go bad within a year or less.
Most timers have no warranty or limited 1 year warranty.

Add a comment and let me know the outcome and what brand and model timer you have, for my notes.

Gate stays open and does not close unless timer switch is turned off

I have a brand new Ramset 300 electric gate opener. My problem is in the early morning when the loop opens the gate it will not close unless deactivated manually. It does not happen later in the day with my GMC truck but happens early in the am with my husbands Toyota Prius. Please help. What can be the problem?
