Probably not cost effective to repair, it will need a new floppy drive.

Check here for a deal: eBay

Cammedic is correct. It's the floppy drive. Quite possibly the head crashed. It's internal and it's very expensive to repair if you can find one.

You might be able to find a replacement camera on EBay if you still decide to use that model.

Mavica mvc-300 disc error c:13:01

I have had similar problem and i think it's a problem with the disc. Make sure the disk is clean and unscratched. Check your other discs, too, to see if they are giving you the same problem. If not, it' is most likely the disc and not the camera.

It comes that Disk not being recognized. I had the same camera before. You need to use good quality CDRs or CD-RWs. Usually Sony Mavica disks best with that camera. Maybe you cannot find Mavica in market then go for Sony, Philips, Imation miniCDR/W. also keep the lens of the internal CD writer clean. If you need further assistance please post your question

Good Luck

Not good, you will need a replacement floppy drive for the camera. It is a common failure point on the Mavica series. Sorry, no easy fix
