Hi sam,

I see that you are looking for your WPA security info.

You will need to get in your Router then click on the wireless button or TAB look for security that should give you info about our WPA.

I hope this helps.

Have a nice day,

mvincentc

I cannot find information I need to connect to my wireless hp printer I need wpa key or wep passphrase

When you installed your wireless router, you should have configured its wireless interface:
* set an SSID -- the "name" of your network
* set an encryption-level -- hint: use 'WPA' or 'WPA2'
* set a password or pass-phrase for your network

Enter the SSID/password on your HP printer, to connect it to your router.

Got a new router and now can't use my canon mp620 wirelessly.

IT sounds like to need to reset up your printer for the new router:
Gather the following information from your router: • Access Point Name/Network Name: Also referred to as SSID. A name to identify the specific access point. • Network Key: Also referred to as encryption key, WEP key or WPA/WPA2 passphrase, Pre-Shared key if you used one
use the buttons of the front of the printer near your display to select Settings, then press the OK button
Select Device settings, then press the OK button
Select LAN settings, then press the OK button. Select Wireless LAN settings and update with the new information you collected earlier.
Hope this helps

On my HP photosmart how do I find my WPA Passphrase. I have a Nexxt solutions wireless-N broadband router and Cable & Wireless TP Link, routers. I live in Panama, Central America

Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicatewith your wireless router.

On my printer a hp c7280 all in one it ask me for

This is the passphrase for your wireless network. When connecting to the printer wirelessly, it needs to authenticate. The WPA phrase is what you typed in to access the wireless network with your computer if you did so.

The wireless router is a gate. The printer needs to get through the gate so it needs the password otherwise it can't get access. If you don't have this info readily available, please check your routers documentation as to how to retrieve it.

Hope this helps. Have a great day and don't forget to rate!

Epson sx510w prints using a cable but can't get it to print wireless

The specs for your model Epson allows you to connect the you network by wireless and by LAN cable.

The specs are as follows :-
Wi-Fi Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g – compatible with 802.11n*
*Transmission rate will be limited to 802.11g and will operate in the 2.4 GHz frequency band
Ethernet Wired LAN IEEE 802.3 (100BASE-TX, 10BASE-T)
Other PictBridge
Wireless security
WEP – 64bit
WEP – 128bit
WPA – PSK (TKIP) – compliant with WPA2
WPA – PSK (AES) – compliant with WPA2

To connect the printer by a LAN cable you need to configure the Epson for an IP address that suits your network configuration and connect the LAN cable to your wireless router/hub.

The reason why you cannot print using wireless is because the wireless configuration in the Epson is not setup with the router's wireless configuration ie. SSID WPA encryption etc.

For instructions of setting up a LAN network printer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3668797-setting_up_shared_network_printer

For instructions on setting up a wireless printer, the Epson wireless settings need to be configured with the router's wireless settings. Go into your router's wireless and note the SSID, and encryption settings etc and configure the Epson's wireless settings with the router's wireless settings. This will allow the Epson to connect to the wireless router. Please click on this link for instructions to secure your wireless network, configure the wireless router (if you have not already do so) and configure the wireless card in the computers and wireless printer (the instructions for configuring the wireless card in the printer is the same as for the wireless card in the computers via the printer's menu screen).

Printer asks for wpa passphrase I enter the correct passphrase but the printer says it is wrong

You will need to check the wireless settings of the router .
Is there any computer connected to the router with the Ethernet cable?
If not then connect 1 computer to the router and open the router set up page. Once you open the router set up page, you will be able to find the wireless network key.
Use that password to connect to the wireless network
