One of the four ignitors runs continuously when it is in use or if the central exhaust fan is running. Is there anything we can do to repair the problem or does it require a service call? please advise.

What has happened is one of your igniter modules is either bad or dirty or has water in it. There is an established tip page for this issue and I will link it to you to read. These igniter can be replaced all by yourself so you won't need a service call but a trip to the parts store may be in store. Here is the tip and if you have any more questions on this issue let me know.

My microwave keeps running

Thank you for your post, Lou!
From my understanding your Frigidaire microwave continues to run and when you press the second key your turntable will turn. This sounds like a potential issue with your keypad or control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your microwave and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. This will help clear out any miscommunications within your microwave. If that does not correct your issue I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Want to vent gas cooktop from top of ceiling cabinet down to basement and out chimmney. Distance is approximately 20 feet with four 90 degree angles. Suggestions? Thank you.

There are special fans that are used for this. Use the web to look up exhaust fans. Normally used for boilers, tumble dryers where the distance required to run is further than the fan supplied with the item can push it. The fan will need to be wired in so that the gas cannot be turned on until the fan is running. Pick the fan that best matches flue diameter, temp, and distance

Ignitor sparks continuously

Hi, How long ago did you get the ignitors wet? Most cases, unplug the range for a few hours giving it time to dry out. Maybe set a fan near the range top to help dry it. This helps MOST of the time. please let me know if it helps or if I can assist you further.

Viking Gas Cooktop - Ignition sparks continuously when in 'on' position

This is likely caused by either a dirty ignition electrode, a cracked ignition electrode, or a bad spark re-ignition module.

Clean and inspect the six electrodes for cracks, If that doesn't solve it order a new
Ignition module from an internet appliance dealer that carries Viking parts like Appliance Zone.

If you replace the Ignition module yourself, make sure to turn off the circuit breaker to the range/cooktop before you work on it. Also, make a drawing of where the different color leads are plugged into the ignition module before you unplug the wires and plug them into the new re-ignitor. If the unit is under one year, this should be covered under the warranty.
Viking had a recall a few years back on their ignitor modules.
