On the Aspire 5735Z, the WLAN button is on the far right side of where your laptop's power button is. That strip of buttons and lights above the keyboard area. The farthest button to the right is the wireless power button. Hope it helped, Kobac.

Click on the "Start" button
Click "Control Panel"
Doubleclick on "Network and Sharing Center"
Click on "Change adapter settings"
Find the wireless card, right click on it and select "Enable"

Now, look at the network connections (usually in the lower left corner). It looks like to PCs sitting side by side and click on it. Now, select the network you want to connect to and Voila! You're done.

Where are you trying to play it at? Assuming you are using a wifi connection, wherever you are getting wifi access at has blocked it. Try turning wifi off and using your data instead.

Where is my wifi button on my coby netbookpc 10'' 250gb

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Where is the button to activate wireless connection located?

there probably isn't one! You usually have to open the wireless utility and enable wifi from there. If you don't have a wifi utility...then it is usually bundled in with the driver for the wifi card.

Unplug the router for about 6 minutes. Don't just turn it off. Completely unplug it. Then plug it back in, with your computer on.

My wireless capability is turned off don't know where to turn back on

There's usually a button somewhere on the keyboard or above the keyboard to turn the wifi on and off. If you can't find it try checking the manual for your laptop.

The switch to turn on the wireless connection doesn't function properly/won't turn on. Even if it has been restarted already.

Hi Kate.Wifi can be turned on Windows (or Mac) via settings as well. You don't have to use the button. In Windows go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing center > Connect to network.
But you have to install drivers from your notebook manufacturer first. Should came with your notebook on CD disk.
