How old, at a guess, would the thermostat be?

This will help in figuring out what might be wrong.

SOURCE: Stays in wash cycle Whirlpool Dishwasher Du1050SS

my repairman contacted whirlpool about my washing machine staying on
wash.. to his surprise.. and mine.. and his co=workers.. this is the answer,
it worked.. and we have never heard this before.

In your original istallation booklet it tells you to let the dishwasher run til its complete
the first time you use it as it may rinse twice... my original installation man told me this also.

however.. if you suffer a "blip" in your electricity.. it could put the little dishwasher "brain"
out of whack.. it can run as long as 3 to 4 hours on wash to reset itself.. if you stop it
(like others have mentioned.. and which I did also).. it doesn't complete the reset and it
will attempt to do it the next time..

answer?.. just let it go once as unnerving as this is.. it works.. They did mention that
if it went to 5 hours.. call your repairman because you need a new mechanism.

SOURCE: t8411r1028 honeywell thermostat blank screen where would fuse be?

That thermostat should get power from 24V side of a transformer in the air handler. There should be a fuse in there on the PCB, but just as likely, there may be a 2-wire sensor in your drain trap that will shut it down if it senses water backing up in the drain piping. Clear that line from the outside of your house with a shop vac, cycle the breaker for the air handler if needed. You may also be low on freon, though, so a service call might be a good idea anyway.

MY APARTMENT HAS ELECTRIC WATER BASEBOARD HEATING SYSTEM, I found out the heat cannot be turned off even I disconnect the honeywell thermostats (only one on the wall for the whole unit - living room and 2...

Okay couple questions here because either you have hot water baseboards or you have electric baseboard heaters.
- if the system is a hydronic baseboard heater fed form main boiler, usually this means your space heat is controlled by a zone valve which the zone valve is controlled by your thermostat.
-if you find the zone is controlled by a zone valve than it is possible the zone valve is defective causing hot water to bleed past the zone valve even though your t-stat is telling it to close.
- first find out what excatly the baseboard is heated by either water or electricity
-next personal message me and I can walk you through it

Honeywell fan&limit stat manual reset control

Okay, the red button is a manual reset that is the heat enchanger gets to hot it opens the safety cicruit. The new one does not have the red button so therefore it will automatically reset itself once the temperature of the heat exchanger cools down. Once you install the new one verify the control shuts the unit down. The easiest way for you to do this is to cover the return grilles with a plastic bag with a little tape to hold it to the grille. Then start the heat cycle and observe the furnace operations. There should be a little tab near the 200 degree temp. once it gets to the 12 oclock point the burners should shut down. If it shuts down properly pull plastic bags off returns and satisfy tstat. now turn heat on again and observe what temp the blower comes on
