If the compressor motor is overheating, it's usually a result of low refrigerant gas in the cooling coils. Recharging is an option, if you can find a shop that will do it.

What does 54NC mean when displayed on my Honeywell room thermostat?

I'm guessing, I don't have your thermostat, but "NC" sounds like, "Not Connected". Check wiring at back of thermostat and at furnace.

I would like to know how to wire honeywell dt90e thermostat which wires where i have 5 wires from wall

It helps to know which wires went to the terminals on the old thermostat, if it had one. Otherwise, you would really need to know how they are hooked up inside the furnace/air handler. Some technicians hook them up differently, but I can give you the basics and most commonly used wires. R terminal- red/power wire G terminal- green/ fan wire Y terminal- yellow/ cooling or condenser wire W terminal- white/ heating wire C terminal- blue/black/ common or ground wire If you have a rc/rh terminal, they are usually jumpered with a small wire and your power wire still hooks to that. Hope this helps and good luck!

Ive currently got a honeywell smartfit thermostat control which is displaying F24 which ive been told means i need to replace the control panel, again!! ive already replaced it once not so long ago (approx...

There are other universal replacements but if it was me I would stick with the honeywell parts. I know they are more expensive but in your instance where you already have a problem that is causing the control panels to fail I'm afraid you would make it worse by using other then factory replacements.Thank you
