Trying to rename a file in Computer-user-(moms)

Try and download " Long Path Tool " is also useful in situations where you see these error messages: Cannot read from source file or disk, there has been a sharing violation, cannot delete file or folder, the file name you specified is not valid or too long, the source or destination file may be in use and many other file managing errors.

ON MY SLICK MP3 PLAYER ,WHEN PLUGGING IT INTO A DESKTOP , WHEN TRYING TO DELETE A CERTAIN FOLDER , A POP UP STATES .. ERROR DELETING FILE OR FOLDER , A BIG X THEN SAYS CANNOT DELETE FILE CANNOT READ FROM...

This sounds like you've got one of three things happening:

1 - Your USB cable is dying slowly. Over time connections become seperated within the cable. This causes data loss and all sorts of funny errors. Try a different cable and see if that helps.

2 - Your USB plug is malfunctioning or underpowered. If you are attempting to use a USB 2.0 device on a 1.1 connection, errors may prevent you from doing what you want to do. Try a different USB port, see if that helps.

3 - Your MP3 player has a setting somewhere locking files to the device itself. If windows tries to delete a locked file, you will receive an error. Browse through the manual of your device or the settings on the device itself and see if there's a lock or protection or USB mode somewhere.

Because you're getting the "cannot read from source or disk" error, I am strongly geared towards #1. Get yourself a new cable and see if that doesn't solve the problem.

When i install fifa 10 or fifa 08 my pc show a problem that, it cannot read the group1.cab file. and then show the error code is 2350

that is basically a disc error. it means that the file named in the error message (.cab) file is not recognized or simply the system cannot copy and extract files from it to complete the installation.
resolution:
Create a folder in your local disk and name it Disk-1 then copy all the files of your cd-installer to that folder. do the same for DIsk 2 and so on. When during copying of files to your local disk produces error like "cannot read from device", it means that the source cd is defective with scratches and you need to buy a new installer. when no errors are detected, then open and run the setup.exe file in Disk-1.

Cannot delete file.

Most PMP's come with a format option in the settings menu. Back up any important files (if any) and format your player. This usually fixes most hard drive related problems.

I am trying to install the Camedia Master software into a new pc, but when the disk gets to 90% loaded it freezes.

A CRC error (Cyclic Redundancy Check) is a data corruption error. This basically means that the data read from the media did not match what was expected to be read by the software. I would say that it is most likely that the source media that you are copying/reading from is corrupted. It is also possible that the destination media that you are copying to could be the source of the problem. If it is a hard drive try running scan disk or other disk repair software, if it is a CD - clean or replace the CD. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
