Grease fittings for spindles

Some cheaper mowers don't have grease zirks for the spindle bearings. If you cleaned off the deck and you can't see them, the only thing to do is remove some shields and keep looking, or check with manufacturer details to see if it even has them. A simple call to a craftsman repair shop should be able to answer that question.

My 50" troy bilt zero

All riding mowers have a seat safety, blade engage safety and a brake clutch safety, some mowers have a reverse mowing safety. Seat under the seat, blade and brake you will have to check the linkages underneath, and if there is a reverse mowing one I have seen them near the shifter handle right under the fender.

I have a Craftsman, 6.75hp, SP, model #917.377580 lawn mower. Was running good but, won't start any more. Don't know if or where the fuel filter would be. Thinking it might be the solid state...

If you know that you have a good plug, and you don't have spark at the plug, then it is a bad Ignition Coil (Module). If you need further help, let me know.

Good Luck!

Cable

I'll tell you what I did to a cable like that on an old mower of mine, if you promise not to laugh at an old ****. I cut my cable shorter and fashioned a little bushing out of some small weedeater fuel line, so the edge of the hole on the lever wouldn't wear on the cable, and crimped a small cable clamp in the position I wanted and was back in action. Hope this helped, don't laugh, and best wishes.
