Hi,

Good day. For you to be able to connect or detect a wifi you need to make sure of this things:

1. Check if wireless switch is on, which is usually located on the top part of your keyboard or at the side
2. check if the wireless network is present
> Go to Start
> go to control panel
> device manager
> Click Network Adapter ( check if a wireless adapter is present )
Note: if you see a red x on the wireless adapter you need to right click and enable the device
if you a yellow ! mark you need to reinstall the driver or software that came with your
notebook to make the wireless working
3. Make sure that if you have a firewall that it should not block the wifi connection

Hope this information will resolve your concern. Have a great day

Checked the device manager
go to network adapters
- make sure there's no question mark or X mark or even exclamation point on that tab -
- Fn and F5 - press and hold ( make sure the current status is on )
make sure the wirelss switch is on probably it must have green or white light

My seiki tv detects wifi but won't connect. even after i enter the password. how do i fix this?

One reason I can think of for your problem is this: your TV detects several other protected WiFi networks (probably from your neighbors) in addition to your own, and it is likely that you entered the password for your network when trying to connect to another network. To check if this is the case and if you don't know your network's name (actually this is called the network's SSID), do the following: turn off your modem/router, then check what WiFi networks are detected by your TV. Write down the names of those networks. Turn your modem/router back on and see what networks are now detected by your TV. The new one on the list is your WiFI network's SSID. Make sure that you connect your TV to that new network.

Sony ericsson w890 wifi not working

Check weather any other device can detect wifi signal of your modem router. If it cannot detect the signal then it may be the complaint of your modem roter wifi.
If the other device can detect wifi of your modem router then back up the data of your phone and reset it. It will work fine.
Thank you

Wifi not found

See if a PCI or network controller card appears in Device manager first (control panel).

If the computer detects the WIFI card it will be installed or appear with an exclamation point.

Check that first, if the card appears with an exclamation mark, click uninstall.

Download the WIFI card driver from Compaq. Install the driver and restart the computer.

Once the computer restarts, then it should automatically detect the hardware and boom should be working.

If this does not solve the problem (assuming the exclamation point was there) then uninstall the WiFi card again and restart the pc.

This time allow the computer to restart and detect the hardware. Do not click anything on the hardware wizard. Instead run the WiFi card driver software again. Restart pc and hope it works.

If not, let me know and we can try something else.
