I took out the magenta Toner, now I can't seat it correctly enough to close the door, and I get the 010B error. I've tried every which way to seat it so the door will close, but nothing seems to be working.

How do I correct error c4152?

Magenta Print head (print head has the LASER inside of it that writes the image on the drum) in this case it is the magenta LASER. Open and close the front door to reset. If it comes back replace the print head. Normal done as a set of all four. (Black, Magenta, Yellow, and Cyan). Worse case is the relay board is bad or the Image control Board$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

We have a Xerox Phaser 6350 and I was printing some copies today, when I looked over and it stopped printing magenta. So, I replaced the toner cartridge and opened the printer to make sure that everything...

Make sure you turn the printer off and back on a couple times. The fuser is not "hot-swappable"meaning you need to cycle the power for the machine to recognize it. If after doing this and you are confident that the fuser is seated correctly the next step would be to replace the fuser (part# - 115R00035). ItemInc.com has these in stock and ships same day. Hope this helps and thanks for using FixYa!

Printer dell 1710n will not work lights remain on steady. I've tried turing it off and then back on and I get the same results. What should I do

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/1710n/en/om/1710_en.pdf
Troubleshooting starts on page 60
Pretty much, all the basic steps, remove toner cartridge, ensure the paper path is clear, re-seat the toner cartridge, make sure all doors are fully closed then power on.
If no change time to call tech support.

I have a Konica Minolta Magicolor 1650en. When replacing color toner, I managed to install magenta and yellow, following menu prompts, but when I try to install Cyan, the cartridge doesn't...

I had a similar problem in that after changing one of the cartridges (I bought a whole set), the message "cannot rotate cartridge" appeared. I tried pressing the cartridge in more firmly and may have caused the carousel to rotate a little in the process. I cycled the power which seemed to clear the error message and allowed me to select the next cartridge to change, but upon opening the door to change it, was unable to remove the old one as it was positioned a little too high. I eventually cleared the problem by manually rotating the carousel by pressing in and holding the carousel release (see arrow) mmgazette.jpgwhile rotating the carousel downward slightly, to line the cartridge up as it appears in this picture. Then powered it back up and was able to do the normal cartridge replacement procedure for the remaining cartridges without further error messages.

Scanner error 12 on hp laserjet m1005

When the lid or door of an HP Laser Jet printer isn't properly closed, the printer's display will read "Error 12." You can usually correct an "Error 12" by closing the printer's door securely -- a process which may require that you first fix the orientation of a toner cartridge so that the door can close. In some instances, an "Error 12" appears due to some other issue, such as a missing toner cartridge or a defective paper-feeding component.

10.92.03 error showing while printer door closed.

One of the cartridges may not be seated correctly. Open the door and remove all the cartridges. Close the door and power the printer on. Then, replace each toner one at a time, closing the door in between each one. This should allow you to determine which toner is not seated correctly. Remove and reseat that cartridge. Clear any foreign debris from the area. You may have to replace that cartridge in the event it is defective.

Toner Sensor Error for Cyan and Toner Out for Black

First, I wouldn't worry about the "K toner out", it might finally disappear once you get rid of the Cyan problem, if indeed you replaced the black toner for a new and healthy one.

Make sure that the cyan toner cartridge is securely fitted in it's drum unit, and the "knob" that opens the toner cartridge is in fully open position. Sometimes when manipulating inside the printer the "knob" might get moved a bit.

Generally, the toner cartridge sensor is connected via the drum unit, so usually the problem is with proper seating of the drum unit and good electrical contact between the metal fields on the sides of the drum unit and contacts protruding inside the printer. Cleaning both of any residue might help.

Once I had a defective toner cartridge, that caused such problem, but it was the contact between the toner cartridge and the drum that was broken. You have to experiment a bit.
I'm pretty sure in this model it is possible to swap two units - if you swap for example cyan with magenta, and observe if the error moves from cyan to magenta or not, you can draw conclusions if the problem is with the toner/drum, or with the printer not seeing the cartridge for some reason (sensor inputs killed by static electricity for example).

Magenta cartridge empty

When you take the toner cartridge off the imaging unit, is there magenta toner in the open slot of the IU? Assuming that there is nothing wrong with the toner cartridge, you are possibly looking at a bad engine control board.
