Question about Computers & Internet
Good day. You can follow these steps to check if we can get your keys working.
1.Try multiple programs
>Make sure the key is not working in more than one application. Some keys such as the function
keysF1 through F12 will not work with every program. An easy way to test this is to open
notepad or other word processing program and trying the key.
2. Reboot and try in Safe Mode
>If not all keys are working in all programs make sure it's not just a glitch by first rebooting the
computer. If this doesn't resolve the issue and you're using Microsoft Windows try the keyboard
3. Clean the keyboard
> Remove the key from the keyboard and clean it. In some situations dirt, hair, dust, etc. can
obstruct keys causing them not to work. ( I don't suggest these because you're using a laptop)
4. You might need to consult a computer technician for further diagnosis if the problem still persist
or if you still have this laptop under warranty you can bring to the store where you purchase and
they will help you with it.
Hope this information help you . Have a great day and thanks for visiting Fixya.
