Question about LG Televison & Video
What you most likely need is to service or replace the ZSUS board 6870QZE017D. There's a good chance the fuse on it will be open - check it if you can.
Replacing the fuse likely won't help - it'll either blow again or will make the TV shut down.
Feel free to send the board for repair or buy a new one.

That sounds like you may have a problem with a bad solder joint on one of your switching transformer connections. If you have a soldering iron and some solder, you should resolder the transformer connections. Also check the whole board for bad solder joints. If this does not work there might be a chance that one of your capacitors has gone bad due to aging. You will need an oscilloscope and a schematic to measure the voltages on the capacitors to make sure that they are within the recommended ripple voltage range (open capacitors loose their ability to filter so the ripple voltage increases and this causes instability in the DC voltage level). However the fact that when you apply mechanical pressure the problem abates, this is pointing towards a bad solder connection.
I hope this helps,
