Question about Televison & Video
If the controller you're using is the cable box controller, try going to your service provider to ask for a replacement. I ran into the same problem, and the cable company happily replaced my controller, free of charge. The instructions that come with setting up the new controller are a lot easier to follow than a random universal remote. If you're having trouble timing the sequence of buttons that need to be pressed, call the service provider and they will walk you through it. If not, make sure you try every code that comes with the universal controller. Look up the brand of your TV in the instructions and follow the steps very carefully. As I stated earlier, make sure you try every code possible.
