SOURCE: My computer says its connect to my wireless network yet I can't access the internet!

Try resetting your router first off. Then repair your connection by right-clicking on the connection. You may have a sketchy router or one that could benefit from a firmware upgrade. I would get into the router's homepage and check the settings for your connection, then make sure your getting IP addresses and DNS addresses from your ISP.

SOURCE: Wireless Connection

What kind of wireless adapter is your lap top using? You can find this in your device manager - Right click My Computer > click Manage > then press Device Manager to check what adapter is listed

Also, try to use a USB wirless adapter to rule out an issue with your Wireless Router.

Upate to the newest wireless driver Change the channel on router wireless settings You can also try to update the firmware on your Router Let me know. Thanks.

SOURCE: Do I need two wireless network adapters?

You should have only 1 wireless adapter, the other 1 is the ethernet adapter. If you experience low signal strength even after updating the drivers, you need to customize wireless settings on the router.
You need to change the wireless mode to "802.11b and 802.11g" or "802.11g", whatever you have in your router. If this is the same with all wireless networks, wherever you go, then its an issue with the adapter, you should get a replacement.

You will have to remove the driver & softwares from your operating system first.
To remove softwares... Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Softwares > Select Intel Pro/Wireless and choose remove.
To remove drivers... Right click on my computer > Go to Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > Select Wireless Network Adapter > right click on it & select Uninstall
Then Restart your system & begin with the downgrade version of drivers you have.
Enjoy

Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection code 10

Hi,
Code 10 usually means the device driver is not compatible, outdated or corrupt.

Try uninstalling the wireless device again and then reinstall using the latest driver available from:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2259&OSFullName=Windows+Vista*+Home+Premium%2C+32-bit+version&lang=eng&strOSs=153&submit=Go!

NB If you're running XP, use the second one.

Hope this helps
