Question about Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64BIT Operating System Software OEM DVD
Good day, for you to be able to restore your computer to factory settings you can to a system restore which is always present in every windows. Just follow these steps:
1. >Open the Start Menu.
>Click on All Programs
> System Restore
or you can
2. >Open the Start Menu
>Right click on the Computer button
> click on Properties
>Click on the System Protection link
3. If you have done a system restore before just Select (dot) Choose a different restore point,
and click on the Next buton
4. Select (click on) a listed restore point that you want to restore Windows 7 back to.
5. Click on the Next button then Click on the Finish button
6. Click on Yes to confirm ( it will give you a warning so you need to click yes to contnue )
7. After the computer has restarted, click on the Close button You'll get a message saying that your computer is been restored successfully
Note: if you don't have a restore point you can solve this by having your windows 7 reinstalled on your pc to get the default settings back ( this is the best way by could be time consuming )

Ok, first, you are asking a very interesting question since you have Win7 HP 64bit, but you do not know how to reset to factory settings? First, why do you have a 64bit version of Win7? Most people pay a processing penalty for this, so I do not understand, unless you run Fourier Analysis on your screensaver :P
My next issue is I am not sure what you mean by factory settings? Normally this means performing a full new install without data backup, etc... If I recall my Windows manual correctly, aside from backup/restore, which it does not sound like you have that setup, there is no other magic button to push to get to factory settings, unless of course you have a recovery disk and know your way around that. Sounds like a full install is warranted, you probably should make sure any data you have is backed up somewhere before doing that though, or you will lose it.
