Can not get printer to copy 2 sudes of a paper

    Check your owner's manual; most printers won't do the 2nd side without manual intervention.
    My (retired) Canon did the manipulation internally but this is still not common.

Try to unplug and replug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, try to copy 2-sided again. Refer to the Lexmark 7500 Series User's Guide for the step-by-step instructions on how to copy on both sides of the paper.
Notes:

  • Use only plain paper in Letter or A4-size. Do not make duplex copies on envelopes, card stock, or photo paper.
  • You cannot print duplex through the PictBridge port.

Do a hard reset on the printer. Completely remove the printer software/driver and reinstall from a new source (manufacturer website)

Was the green paper the type kids use in school. When my kids were little we called it contruction paper. If this is the case, your printer is smart enough to know that this paper is thicker than normal. It's responding as it should. Next time you want to print on this type of paper - select this in your printer's software control panel.

check for any paper jams, cartridge jams or low ink...
If all is OK, better to contact nearest service centre.
The problem may be related to logic board.

Go into the paper menu and set the multipurpose feeder paper size to letter. It will work if the paper size is set correctly for the MPF.

Make a copy doube sided-2 in one from a driver license


this depends on the printer.

- copy normally

- take the paper that has the copy, put it in the tray and copy.

- if it worked nice luck , if not flip the paper, put it down side up, and on until you get it right.

THE INK MAY NOT BE TOTAL DRY WHEN MAKING BACK TO BACK COPIES, SOMETIME YOU NEED TO LET THE PAPER TONER DRY, LET THE PAPER COOL OFF BEFORE PUTING IT THREW THE MACHINE AGAIN, AND I KNOW ITS A PAIN IN THE BACK SIDE.
