Carriage return not working properly

Is it slow, not going all the way back to the margin? If so, take a little WD40 on a rag and wipe off the silver carrier shaft.

Swintech brand electric typewriter. When typing the ribbon wheel is slow to advance and causes right of letter to be cut off. What is wrong?

Check for bent or broken spokes on the PW. Be sure the correction tape is a dry one tacky will give you fits.

Beeping

If its a load fast beep then check you have a print wheel in the machine...also if this is an older model check the flex cable wires that are attached to the carriage on older models they could sometimes break about 2~3" away from the carriage itself.
If its a slow beep ( like a smoke detector with a weak battery) then it could be the main control pcb.

The ribbon is not moving for each new letter being typed. Its very slow so when you are typing a word it just keeps going over the same spot on the ribbon.

I'll try thisagain use the code key with one of these 3 keys ,.
. , or / this will take you out of the uverstrike ribbon mode.

Coronomatic 2200 carriage return stops advancing

It sounds like you are coming up against your right margin. By hitting release you are merely bypassing the margin. You might try resetting your right margin by clearing it all the way to the right side of the carriage first then resetting it to where you want it.

Oil the chrome rod that the carrier slides on, when they get sticky they slow the printed down and tells board it has not come homein time. Also will give you different margins every time....Good luck
