Actually not sure what your issue is here, again, you are not supplying enough information. Here is what I think you said, I have a VIAO with Win7 and it is configured for Spanish and it will not work for English because the keys on the keyboard are NOT mapped correctly. If this is the problem you will have to go into the Text Services and Input Languages dialog on Win7 and define any keyboards you wish to use. For American English there are a number of keyboards, but US and US-International are the most often used. If you find the dialog you may install new services for English (United States) and the corresponding keyboard layouts you wish to use. If you are using Spanish right now you should note that it will probably say Spanish (your country) - Spanish... You should be able to ADD a new language and keyboard layout. You can then use the language bar on the taskbar to select between Spanish and English keyboard layout when you want to switch between the two languages and key layouts. I use it often for European languages on Windows XP, 7 and also XUbuntu and it seems to work well on those without issue.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I have just bought the K120 Logitech Spanish keyboard. The keys don't match what comes up on the computer screen. What a waste to time and money. Wish I had kept to the English keyboard or b ought...

The operating system controls what language comes up on the screen, not the keyboard. A keyboard is just a bunch of switches with letters printed on them. The computer only sees a switch closing that is supposed to represent a letter that it is programmed for.
Your operating system may be able to operate with more than one language or you may have to buy an operating system designed for spanish.

When typing some letters they do othe thing and not type the letter do u know yhy?

Sometimes when you type a key on your keyboard, such as a "/", you might get an accented E, this is because certain QWERTY keyboards are set differently, depending on the region. Information on this can be obtained here:

http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials?os=other
To correct this issue, you need to set the Language Bar to a US Layout. Yes, you live in Canada, but your keyboard is not a Canadian-type Keyboard, it's a US Layout, so when setting up your keyboard, make sure you are setting it to English (United States).

You can change this by going to Start, typing in Language, then selecting Region and Language.

In the window that pops up, change the Format to English (United States), then click on that Keyboard and Languages tab and select Change Keyboards. Whatever you see in here, you want to remove it, since multiple keyboards might interfere with what Windows interprets putting into Windows. Before you remove anything though, click on Add, scroll to English (United States) and click on the + to expand it. Click on the + next to Keyboard, then put a check mark next to "US".

Press Okay. You should now see a selection in here that says English (United State) - Keyboard - US. Remove anything above or below that so they don't conflict. Before you exit this window, change the Default Input Language at the top to English (United States) - US. This should make your keyboard more accurate.
If this doesn't resolve the issue you are experiencing, simply return to this page and post a response. I'll be happy to assist you further.

Keyboard keys are messed up....any thing you type differnt letters pop.

You probably have the wrong country listed in your keyboard layout.  Each country has a different keyboard layout, as some languages need frequent access to accents and special characters.

I'm presuming you have Windows; and I don't know which version, so I can only give general instructions on how to fix it:

In Control Panel, there's a setting for 'regional settings' or 'region & language'...something like that.  Click on it.  In there somewhere is 'input settings' or 'keyboard settings'.  Change this to the country you got the keyboard from.

For example, I'm English & living in Spain.  So I loaded an English version of Windows, but I have to set it to 'Spanish keyboard' as I bought the laptop in Spain and the keys on the keyboard are in the Spanish configuration.

Hope that helps.

Nexus One

Adran,
The Nexus One runs on the Google Android 2.1 open source mobile operating system. Fresh from the factory it supports Keyboard languages in English (U.S), French (France), German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Display languages in English (U.S), French (France), German, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Korean, Japanese, Russian

For Scandinavian letters you can download: Scandinavian Keyboard by Trygve Aaberge Also download the Finnish Dictionary by Tero Auvinen (made for the Scandinavian Keyboard). Although they are for the Android, due to the Nexus One running on the Androids OS (operating system) you should have no problems. I hope this helps and good luck!

My lenovo laptop keyboard is not showing english letters, it is showing 2 dots above certain letters.. please help

Theres a on screen keyboard you can see if the on screen keyboard is doing this too. That will tell you if its a OS or keyboard issue. Also try an external keyboard to see if its doing it too. If they all do it it your language pack in your OS. You may need to set your OS language to another language and then switch back to english. Ive seen this before.
