O/D light blinks, but with that the check engine light is ON.--- This will make your troubleshooting easier. When the check engine light comes on, and remains on, this indicates that there is error stored in your cars computer.---- Once the computer is scanned, you will get error codes, as per that error code it will point towards faulty part, which is causing the O/D light to blink.--------
Most probably the O/D light blinks, If a problem exists in No. 1 or No. 2 solenoids or speed sensors . ---------------For car after 1995 it requires OBD2 tool and for car before 1995 it requires OBD1 tool.------- ---------You car will require OBD1 tool. There are very few auto parts store and repair centers who have OBD1 tool.In your case you required OBD1 tool.------ You can just contact local auto-parts store and they will guide you to the nearest store who has OBD1 tool. There you can get your car scanned. If there is error set in your cars computer, then you will receive the error code.As per error code it will point towards the faulty part causing this problem in your car.------------- --------------The codes which you get is scanning will be mostly any of this following codes:---DTC P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction . DTC P0750 - Shift Solenoid "A" Malfunction . DTC P0753 - Shift Solenoid "A" Electrical Malfunction . DTC P0755 - Shift Solenoid "B" Malfunction . DTC P1520 - Stop Light Switch Signal Malfunction . DTC P1705 - Direct Clutch Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction . DTC P1765 - Shift Solenoid Valve SLN Circuit Malfunction . I can help you fix the BUSY Error or Error 99 of your Canon EOS Rebel XS / Canon EOS 1000D.
Installation of this Canon EOS Rebel XS / Canon EOS 1000D firmware version 1.06 update will solve these problems:
Some cameras may exhibit a phenomenon in which the LCD monitor does not display, the shutter does not release, and the BUSY indication remains lit in the viewfinder.
The message, "Err 99 Shooting is not
possible. Turn the power switch to<OFF> and <ON> again or
re-install the battery", appears on the camera's LCD monitor, and after
the above operation is carried out,the LCD monitor displays in a
language that is different from the actual language setting.

E = error. Have dealer run scan test for fault codes.
Electronic Transmission Error Indicator
The vehicle is equipped with a redundant electronic gearshift indicator. This character appears with the key in the RUN position and displays the same gear selection as shown on the selector lever floor console next to the range selector lever. If an "E" character flashes or remains on this indicates that a transmission malfunction has occurred.

The SRS light means "airbag malfunction" take it to the dealer, only they, will be able to tell you which airbag is malfuntioning. Do not, I repeat do not attempt to fix this on your own airbags have tricky sensor and can cause a even worse problem.
I had the situation where the oven thinks the door is locked but it was not locked. Setting and holding clear eventually gave a f9 error.
I solved this by turning the circuit breaker off and taping over the oven light switch ( so it thinks it really is locked ) and turning on the breaker. The oven unlocked and appears fine now.
I have a Konica Minolta CSPRO EP1054 (in the Middle East)
I accidentally plugged the EP1054 copier into a 110V outlet instead of
the 220V. Immediately the malfunction code (error code) of "C05"
appeared along with the "Call Tec Rep" indicator light (wrench).
I followed the instructions posted by "Soul Visitor" ... i.e., I found
the "Trouble Reset Switch" (not shown in the user manual) by opening
the upper back panel and pressing the small black button in the lower
right hand corner of the middle circuit board (green).
Hi, I had the same problem, MiMusic wouldn`t even recognise there was a disk connected although I could see it in My Computer.Found the answer on internet. Attach it to your p.c. Then go to My Computer and highlight it. Right Click it and a box will appear . Go to FORMAT and format it. Another box will appear and ask if you really want to do it as data will be lost. Answer YES. Then format it. Disconnect from your p.c. Turn it on and you will be able to access the menu facility. Follow the instructions and goto CREATE LIB, BEFORE you put any music on to the thing. I found it created library as soon as I disconnected it. BACK UP anything you have on it first as it will be wiped. It is working perfectly now and MiMusic is too. Yippee. Pat.
