You can insert the card into a card reader , connect it to the computer and scan it with this software. See if finds your files. If it can you can purchase the full version to recover them. I wish you good luck!

I bought my CASIO EX-Z9 from Belgium about three years ago. I've never had any issues with it until now. The pictures are on my camera and viewable etc. but when it is plugged in via the USB cable, I have...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

It sounds like your sensor has problems. How old is the camera? Check the Casio site for firmware upgrades and recalls. Also search the net for others with the same problem.

Can I set my camera to black and white pictures

The EX-Z9 doesn't have a black-and-white mode. You can convert a color picture to black-and-white using just about any photo-editing program on a computer, and this will give you better control over the conversion than any camera.

Possible deleted pictures on my casio ex-p505. Recharged battery and when I went to view my pics my camera reads no files.

Hello

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory card to the computer via either the camera or preferably with a usb card reader , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentaly deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted card. Then select the card you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the pictures were lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the memory card as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea

Casio EX-Z57 Flash not working

Try resetting your camera and see if that helps. Sometimes it does. In REC mode press menu go to setup tab go up to reset press right arrow & highlight reset press set. If that doesn't work you are probably going to have to send it in.
