Hello, welcome to Fixya!

The problem is either from the battery or maybe you are not pressing the correct button to turn it on. Please read further.

Check that the SanDisk MP3 player has a full battery charge. All SanDisk MP3 players have a rechargeable lithium ion battery, and some SanDisk devices have a replaceable battery. The battery icon on the top right-hand side of the SanDisk MP3 player's screen displays the current status of the battery's charge. If the battery is low, recharge it before attempting to use the SanDisk player. To charge, connect the player to your computer's powered USB port using the included USB cable. The SanDisk player's screen will display a yellow charging icon. Unplug when charging is complete.

To turn on the SanDisk MP3 player for the first time, unlock the "hold" switch on the top of the MP3 player by sliding it so that the orange tab does not appear. Then, press the "power button" once. Wait for the SanDisk MP3 player to respond. The thumbweel of the player will flash a light and the screen will turn on to display the player's menu options. Turn off the SanDisk player by holding down the player's power button for two seconds. Wait for the screen to display "Goodbye" before releasing the button.

Please let me know if this doesn't solve your problem so that I can direct you further on what to do next.

Regards.

Door was not shut tight. A loud buzzing sound recently went off and only stops when we unplug or turn off freezer. :(

loud buzzing I believe is an alarm that is waring you that the freezer is not cold enough. Door problems can be fixed. Test is to stick a dollar bill in the door and shut it. It should be a little hard to pull the bill out. Do this all over the door and find all the bad places. One problem is that the door can become warped by banging it against something or kids hanging on it etc. If you can see the warp you can actually bend the door back into place by holding the bottom of the door and moving the top in the necessary direction. Like jamming your foot against the bottom and pulling on the top or putting a box at the bottom of the door to hold it open and push the top. Next many time the bad fit door is because a hing has moved. All the hinges are adjustable. Usually you loosen the screws and move the door in the appropriate direction and re-tighten the screws. These screws are very tight so you need a big screwdriver and someone big to turn it. Lastly you can purchas a completely new door seal and put it in..

Vinotemp VT-60 Condenser won't shut off, unit running way too cold

It might be a sensor or control board problem. Any appliance repair place should be able to help you out with this. Or you can try contacting the manufacturer directly for help or if you need to purchase replacement parts. Otherwise, my cheapest suggestion would be to hook the cooler up to a timer, so you can turn the unit on and off maybe every 20 minutes or so. That should help keep it from causing more harm and then you can monitor the temperature with a thermometer. Hope that helps!

JVC HD-52G786 shuts off

Do you have your TV plugged directly into the wall? You cannot plug into a power strip, it needs its own direct power source. Also, I have heard that there can be electrical problems inside. I have this same model, I love it, picture and sound. I just replaced the bulb for the first time last night. It was a little premature to replace it now but I know what caused it. I bought a new bulb and it works like a gem. If you ever need to change the bulb do it yourself. It takes maybe 2 minutes. The bulb looks like the Flux Copassitor and all you do is remove the door in the back on the side. Unscrew the the 2 screws that hold the bulb in and just pull out. When you put the new one in make sure you do NOT touch the glass on the new lamp. Just slid it in and screw the 2 screws back in and make sure the door is closed and tight. My uncle had a service guy do his and he got raked for 5-$600, The bulb costs about $200. Should last about 5-6 years at a rate of 5-6 hours of TV on time. Hope this helped. If not, sorry, but at least you know how to change the bulb. Good Luck!!!

Battery life

I bought a few SL400R.. yes I think this is the best camera ever. The battery that came with the cameras always would last very short time, especially in cold weather. But when I ordered new ones online, these would last very long. The specs of the new batteries are the same as the original ones. Go figure. After that I ordered external charger too, so I dont need to use the camera's built-in charger. Works very well.
