Kevin, The suggestion did not work, because my computer is using sunos. The computer is a sun microsystem blade 1500. Do you have another option?

By "firmware" I assume that you're meaning "BIOS" here?

Not specifically familiar with SPARC or Sun software but... Pull the power cord, remove the CMOS battery, press the power button a few times...then put it all back together again after a few minutes.

That generally resets the password on any BIOS.

Either the hard dive with the OS is defective and should be replaced or the boot ROM is no good and needs to be replaced.

Boot Sector is compromised. Needs OS re-install.

Download Hirenbootcd 15.0. boot the server and use any sys info tool from that to check the Details of Your server.

I would recommend using Libre Office as a free solution.  It will read and write documents in Microsoft formats and is based on over 10 years of use and updates from Star Office which became Open Office.

for installation

Dont boot from sol-10-u2-ga-x86-dvd-a.iso DVD, please take a image and run through the new one (eg., burn from nero with ext .nrg), it will work. b'coz i am also faced same from, now it is working. dont run through .iso it wont work inside vmware.

I would go to control panel, then "add or remove software". Find Java and then completely remove it. Then go to www.sun.com and redownload the java software and install it again.
