If this is the model of your system, I can't find much info on it but, this site may help you;

If you could provide your complete make and model number and/or provide the number of the motherboard, I could probably be of more help. According to this link you have an Intel motherboard. You can get downloads here and it has support of Windows XP;
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/d845gvsr
It has Intel graphics and Realtek ALC202A, AC97 sound. You can try sound drivers here:

If this is indeed your board, it has the PCI slots. If thats true you could use a card like this, depending on your power supply;

Ahem.

Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.

The device in question is the graphics chipset.

The Operating System is now Windows 7 64-bit.

You were running Windows XP -> 32bit

(Have you got audio? Sound)

This is why I repeatedly try to tell people;

LOOK TO SEE IF DRIVERS ARE AVAILABLE,
before trying to upgrade to frickin Windows 7!

The reason Windows XP blue screened is because the Integrated Graphics of the Asus M4A785TD-V motherboard couldn\'t handle the game.

You need a graphics card. A PCI Express graphics card inserted into the BLUE PCI Express x16 expansion slot, on the motherboard.

(Remember; Install the software F-I-R-S-T, then unplug from power, FOLLOW Anti-Static Precautions; and THEN physically install the graphics card.
Software; The Installation Disk for the graphics card.

Wedding dash n'est pas compatible avec direct 3d divices

It sounds like your graphic card isn't up to snuff. You're probably using an on board graphic card and since you're running XP, i'm assuming it's out of date. You will have spend about $30 to buy a new video card so your machine will be able to run Wedding Dash.

The error message is correct. Windows 7 is not backwards compatible with certain graphics adapters requiring DirectX support higher than 8.0.
You should attempt first to install the proper driver for your graphics adapter from the manufacturer, and if that does not fix the issue, you should either install a new graphics adapter, or revert back to Windows XP.

Hi there

I think it may be a graphics problem. May be the XP drivers are not compatible with your machine graphics card.
You could try this to solve it ...

From the web, possibly on another PC that's got the internet, download the graphics driver for your machine and save it to a USB disk.

Once the set up is complete, try booting into safe mode (press F8 on boot, then select boot into Safe Mode)

Now try running the driver from the USB disk (or copy it to C: drive first then run it).
