Why does my Bowflex TC5000 cut out?

If you're running the machine on a dedicated circuit then your unit is drawing too much current. This can be caused by friction and drag. Solution: Lube deck/belt. If problem persists, replace deck/belt. If you ignore this fix this will blow your controller. .

Treadles on tc5000 wobble and rub

You have to realign treadles ,take the back cover out and at the base of your unit you'll see two slides , couple of screws and yellow bushings if bushings are still in a good shape you can align treadles , if they're broken or worn out you have to replace them , I think there are 8 of them total ,they're called IGUS bushing
Good luck

Bowflex Treadclimber rubs against housing.

Adjustment is needed. Remove rear covers and using a 9/16 wrench lossen the four bolts that secure treadle assembly to base. Place a 3/4 inch piece of plywood or a 3/8 inch socket extension in between the treadles in the front area. with that in place center them about an 1/8 in closer to the right upright as when you tighten the four bolt up the drive belt will place additional pressure and they should center perfect. tighten bolts...tight. remove wedge from between treadles and recalibrate unit. replace covers and enjoy. Use turtle wax on area rubbed to prevent rust.
