I have a Sharp LC-6577UM. Can I plug in a USB memory stick and play a movie from the usb stick?

As long as you have a memory stick large enough to hold the size of a movie, the answer is yes.
Remember the player you select must be able to play the type of Movie that you downloaded to the USB Stick.

How do I sync a universal remote to a nikkai a76ft

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the relative post easily.

No sound from usb movies on my bush blcd32h8 tv

If this is a flat screen maybe the TV isn't capable of decoding the audio you have for the movie. Check to see what audio the TV can decode. For instance: MP3, AC3 etc and check the movie file with a app called mediainfo and go to the audio section and see if your TV is capable of decoding that audio. Also check the extension of the movie file and see if the TV can play those as well. MKV, AVI, MPG, etc.

I buy LG 32LM3410, when i play movies through USB suddenly it plays with no sound, at first it has sound but after a while no sounds will be heard.

I also encountered the same with my 32LM3410 problem with the AAC audio, and it will affect all the succeeding plays until you have to restart the TV. Need to have the file audio converted to AC3 (Dolby Digital) for smooth playback. I use Bigasoft and mkvmerge to solve the problem. Hope this will help.

LG 399d - new - trying to play Avatar movie via the USB port - will not recognise this movie format. In DVDSCR AC3 XVID. AVI. Other movies same format play well not this one. Why? What to fix it? Dave

It is probably a corrupted copy,or perhaps the codec is slightly different from the one, used by player, there could be many reasons indeed. It could be a bad "Header" file. Try re doing the copy again, and see.

Choppy result from playing DIVX via USB Direct connection.

Try a DivX movie from a disc, memory sticks are not very fast, they are just convenient.
