Do not turn on your cell phone, you should open the cover immediately, replace your battery, open all the screw to release the cover and dry the cell phone machine using a hair dryer to dry the water form the motherboard, it use to avoid the water of breaking the circuit, after it dry, you can try to turn on again. if it can't turn on as usuall you should bring it to the service center

My n900 nokia drop into water

Wet Cell Phone
Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone, remove the battery and SIM card. To dry out the cell phone put it in a large plastic bag with silica gel drying crystals then put it in a warm sunny place for several days or in front of a warm fan heater for several hours. Reassemble the phone and hope it will work properly again, but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new cell phone.

I have a Nokia C3 but no power because of water damage

Have you tried taking it apart, Carefully, and putting the separate parts in uncooked rice for a day, then putting it back together ? Sometimes that will dry it out enough, if there is no major water damage. Good Luck.

Dear sir nokia 1662 water damage any way no network cuvarage plz help

For water damage on a cellular phone: turn off the phone, take out the battery and put both the phone and battery inside a zip lock bag full of uncooked rice for 24-48 hours. The rice will draw out the water from your phone. Once the phone and battery are completely dried out, put the battery back into the phone and power it up. This should fix the problem.

N70 Fell in water, Only White Screen is Shown

Don't put the battery / power on. Take the phone to the mechanic / nokia service center on urgent basis. They will remove the remnents of the water and salt over the circuit.
If the problem is still not solved, either the power supply or the motherbaord will require a replacement.

My Iphone went under water and stop working... What should I do?

the only thing you really could do should probably already been done, when you get a cell phone wet you need to remve the battery asap,if you kill the power supply it cant damage any more parts.then you need to dry it with like a hair dryer on low setting do not push any buttons or try to turn on phone this will allow water to get places it shouldnt be after drying with a hiar dryer you want to put it in a container with a lid with silica packets or bury it in dry rice for 24 hrs this will absorb any water left in it then put your battery in pray and try to power it up.If this didnt work i have also heard of people soaking the mother boards in alchol for 24hrs and letting dry for 24hrs this i have only seen done on more simple cell phones as i know that there is three layers of boards in an iphone and i have not had the pleasure of opening one of those up yet.

Cell pjone water damage

Unfortunately it may be too late...the phone should have been turned off the battery should be taken out as soon as it was taken out of the water...this keeps circuits from shorting out... never hurts to try everything...

Place the phone in a sealed container full of uncooked rice, and leave it there for at LEAST 3 days...thats 72 hours of not powering it tempting as it is to "check"

You have to give the rice time to draw out any moisture.

Hope this helps.
