hi. You are missing the required Nokia software that will install the files the right way into your phone.
I had the same problem with my nokia 5310c but then I installed nokia OVI suite.
It takes your downloaded files, and installs them properly into your phone, that way they work the way they're suppoed to.

Just go to nokia.com and download and install OVI suite. It will take care of your files as they get downloaded.
It will ask you when you download them if you want to safe run, or to use an application to open those files.
Select use application, and select ovi suite.
Then click the box for make this defauilt selection.
Then you should up and going!

I have purchase n97 mobile. it has sybian software. but .sis file is not working. when i tried to install .sis theme ,games, its showed me file is not applicable to this phone. plz reply me

Hi,
N97 uses the S60 3rd Edition (a.k.a. S60v3). Have you tried this software before on another N97 phone? It could be possible that the .sis files you are installing is not compatible with your phone. As far as I know, softwares written for S60 1st Edition and 2nd Edition (e.g. N70, N72) is not binary-compatible with S60 3rd Edition. Make sure the .sis file that you have is written for S60v3.

How to install .sis files in n97 mohisin821@gmail.com

PC Suite is a standard Nokia software used to synchronize phone information with a PC.
You'll need to have the handset connected to the PC for this to work.

  • Download SIS file to your PC/Mac desktop computer.

  • Run PC Suite on your desktop computer
  • Look for the "Install software" option and select the downloaded SIS file.
