Ok restart your computer and press "del" or F10. When your BIOS will be open go to the Last tab from where you can set your password. But if you forget old one then it is not work.

Need to clear the password for the bios.

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your Toshiba Satellite laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper and I wouldn't recommend doing it especially if it's under warranty.

If you cannot find the reset pins try to find the CMOS 3V battery, it is usually located under the keyboard, and disconnect it. remove the computer battery and then start the computer. When you boot it should ask you for the time and date. At this point shut down and plug the CMOS battery back in and reinstall the computer battery. This time when it ask for the time and date go ahead and enter it and the rest of the bios should be set to default.

Toshiba a305-s6872 plese help need to remove bios password.

If the password removal option is not there in the bios (as in many cases) then there must be a password reset option. Just use that option and enter your previous password and in the new password field don't type anything, just leave it blank. Then, I hope, from the next time boot, it won't ask for a bios password.
