Question about Fisher Price Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX Ninja Ultimate Terrain Traction

1 Answer

How many years does the batteries usually last? I bought an used quad power wheel. I charged the battery for about 6 hours and it doesn't seem to have any juice. Before I buy a new battery is there any way to test it to see if it might have a different problem?

If you happen to have a power supply with the same voltage you can hook up that to the toy and see if it even runs before spending money on the battery, the batteries last according to the amount of use and how many times they have been charged

Just bought one of these and it seems like it doesn't hold a charge it goes pretty good and thanafter 15 mins so slow??

Battery powered vehicles like scooters and golf carts have trouble going up hill because smaller electric engines aren't powerful enough or made for nothing more than flat land. You could have a bad battery or the battery isn't being charged enough. I know someone that has a golfcart and it takes approximately 48 hours to charge full. You may want to check the manual about charging times.

Car battery

Go to the auto parts store and buy a small 6 amp charger and leave it on the battery for 4-6 hours, if it doesn't charge back up it is defective, one year old or not. I have put 4 new batteries in my Corvette in one year until i bought a factory DELCO battery from the GM dealer and problem was solved.

Battery fully charged, bike turned on after, but on 2nd try after couple of hours, no power

Based on what you've said here I would say that either the battery is incapable of maintaining a charge or something is draining the battery. To test to see if something is draining it, disconnect the positive cable and put an ameter between the cable and the battery to see what current is being 'used' when the ignition switch is off. It should read ZERO amps. If there is current flowing then something is draining the battery - pull fuses to find the culprit. If the drain shows ZERO amps then it's possible the battery is tired and needs to be replaced. Motorcycle batteries don't usually last more than a few years.

I hope this helped. Sorry for any typos.

Nikon Coolpix L110 camera was bought for me for Christmas 2010. Worked fine at first, but now seems to be having problems. Batteries don't last. I just bought new batteries in Feb/March this year...

You have to charge the batteries for nearly 8-10 hours. Brand new batteries also require a full recharge of 8-10 hours. Not only making sure the batteries are charged, have you changed the battery in the menu under type of batteries.
Download this manual :

Well, if the Batt don't hold charge then check the regulator on the bike with an Ohmmeter you can buy one at an Auto parts shop....motor running you should see 14.5 V if not then the Reg is out!!!

Hi, I have eMachines E640-N833G25Nnks, P/N: LX.NA102.059, Model: NEW85, S/N: LXNA10205902804E2A1601. It is: proc: AMD Phenom II X3 Mobile Processor N830, graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, mem: 3GB,...

I Googled to see if there was any problems related to battery sensors, seems eMachines laptops don't have that problem, the laptop runs well while plugged in, so it's not internal circuitry, I believe it's a battery problem, as you say charging level has been decreasing progressively, try your battery on another laptop to see if the battery is the problem and just in case try a friend's battery on your laptop to completely eliminate doubts about battery sensors, if you don't have a friend with a similar laptop I would go the safe way and send the battery for replacement, if the store where you bought it is in the same country you should get the laptop there so they check out what's going on, if you live in a different country read the manual or click "eMachines customer support" to see if there's any tech support near your city, I still believe it's a battery problem.
Not I'm gonna give you some advice on taking care of your laptop's battery: - When you get new batteries make sure you charge them at least 12 hours before using it. - If you're not going to use your laptop in a while (one or two weeks) get the battery to full charge and then deattach it from the computer, put it back in if you're going to use it. - If using your battery periodically get it to full charge and deplete your battery's energy completely by using the computer until it turn's off itself and then recharge it completely again at least once a week.
If you have any questions, I'll be glad to help. Have a nice day.

You should have a battery charger to charge the 6v battery that powers the wheels, your first step should be to make sure this battery is fully charged, its located in a compartment under the seat.

Compaq EL81 laptop. Battery will not charge. Laptop powers/boots up with battery installed but shuts down after a few minutes. Removed the battery, power up and unit now stays on. Bad battery?

The battery in my laptops only seem to last 1 or 2 years.

Yes, I would say it's a bad battery.

Try to get a higher capacity one from amazon.com. I upgraded from a 6 cell (1 or 2 hours of battery life) to a 9 cell (3 or 4 hours of battery life) on my Acer Aspire for about $39.

Prices will vary depending on make and model and capacity.
