Question about Yard Man Garden
Check for clean air filter, good strong spark and good fuel flow to the engine. The only other thing that could be out of whack and prevent starting is the "air-gap" between the ignition coil and the flywheel. To try and coax the engine into starting, remove the air filter and shoot a good shot of carb/choke spray into the carb throat with the choke off. Then immediately try to start the engine normally (with it choked). We are trying to get it to run so it will start drawing fuel normally from the carburetor. A clogged carb main jet can cause your problem too. It is the brass bolt that holds the float bowl onto the carburetor body. Remove it, inspect it and clean it. Use no metal objects on it as the small orifices that meter fuel thru it have to stay that way. Look for clogged holes in the unthreaded section of the bolt near the top. Clean it till shiny and reinstall. Try the carb/choke cleaner a few times and post back if needed. We are here to help.
